Logan Trott, a native of Deary, Idaho, realized his dream of owning his own barber shop when he and his wife, Kristen, opened Blades & Fades Barber Shop in Pullman in November of 2010 shortly after Logan graduated from Evergreen Beauty and Barber College in Everett, Washington. Logan wanted to bring to the Palouse what it desperately needed: a barber shop that knew how to do TRUE FADES AND TAPERS on ALL ethnicities. Logan works six days a week with his family by his side, but when he has any spare time at all, he is either working on his century old home, building campsites on his property in Elk River, or playing with his four young children.
Kristen Rinehart-Trott is the person you’ll talk to when you call Blades & Fades’ number. Logan and Kristen met in Seattle in 2006 when they were working on a cruise ship. They married a year later and a year after that, their family started. It wasn’t long before they realized it was time to move closer to family and chose Pullman to be their home and the place to open their barber shop. Now, she’s the mother of four. Kristen runs the shop’s business and is almost always there to greet you at the door.
